It is the only official public bathing area and is fully enclosed both on land and in the water. The beach features pools of varying depths: 50 cm, 120 cm, and 180 cm, cabins, showers, and two water slides, making it ideal for families with young children. The access to the beach is adapted for people with disabilities and the elderly. There is an entrance fee for the beach..
A popular tourist attraction on Lake Bled is certainly the boat ride on the traditional "pletna" to the island. The "pletna" is a traditional wooden boat typical of Lake Bled.
The "pletnar," or rower, standing at the stern, steers the boat, which is 8 meters long and 2 meters wide. Boats depart from several docks: Mlino, Hotel Park, and Velika Zaka. The boat ride also includes a tour of the island.
